„Best Days” is a 2021 song deeply inspired by early 2000s pop punk culture. To design the single cover i had to go back in time and explore the style of that era (for a late 90s kid like me it was a really nostalgic journey). Getting inspiration from pop punk bands such as Blink-182, Simple Plan or Sum 41 i decided to go for a cartoon artwork with oversaturated colours presenting the suburban teens having the best days of their lives. The outline was hand drawn (fineliners on paper) and then digitally coloured to maintain the cartoon look.
